guidelines

nibble is a paper and staple poetry magazine seeking short poems that breathe with life and leave fingerprints in the reader’s mind. surprise us with stunning imagery and a strong tone and you will be rewarded.

submissions can be emailed to: nibblepoems@gmail.com

please send 3-5 poems. as we are focusing on short poems, please send pieces that are 20 lines or less (shorter is better). probably better to use attachments (.doc), as poems in the body of an email can lose their formatting.

we generally do not accept Haiku or rhyming poems, but brilliance is always rewarded. simultaneous submissions are accepted, but keep us posted!

please, no previously published poems.

please inlude a short 3rd person bio (50 words max). do not send a list of places you have been published, we want to know about you. bios will be edited for publication as needed and will likely appear on the website as well.

we generally reply quickly, aiming for no more than two weeks.  please be patient. if you have not heard from us after four weeks, feel free to inquire about your submission at that time.

payment is one contributor’s copy.

additional contributor’s copies will be made available for $3 each
