oh man…

just checked the mailbox and there’s enough poetry in there to choke an iguanadon.

seriously.

nibble just received a massive missive from propaganda press…apparently they have some new books out.  like what? 1,2,3,4,5,6…uh what comes next?

oh who cares…it’s a ton of new poetry and we’ll be diving into some misplaced joan of arc, by leah angstman, and the sagging: spirits and skin, by jason fisk, first and foremost because those two poets never fail.

when the hell we’re going to find time to read the rest, we have no idea.  between the new meth habit that several staff members have…acquired and the new poetry competition and the nightmare that the blank nibble has become we’re up to our eyeballs.

and we’re still unpacking from the move.

has anyone seen my stapler?

one other book you need to check out, as soon as it’s available:  the map of the garden, by rebecca schumejda.  it’s coming from verve bath press.  it’ll be available 11/1/09.

rebecca is an amazing poet and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one.

also in today’s mail, the first entry into the poetry competition.  inside?  four poems and a crisp $20 bill.

the proverbial gauntlet has been thrown down.

proverbially.
